Dr Andreas Klasen is a Partner and Managing Director at IiII Advisory. He also serves as Director of the IiII Institute for Public Value and is Honorary Research Associate at the University of Oxford. Andreas Klasen advises governments, innovation funds, developments banks, export credit agencies, export-import banks, and corporates on analytics, strategy, organisational design, and operations.
Previous Positions
Before joining academia, most recently at Brunel University of London, he was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany and PwC’s Economics & Policy leader, serving also as Managing Director of the official export credit agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. Previously, he was Head of Guarantees and Export Finance with Airbus Group (ex EADS). Professor Klasen also served as the Vice President of the Berne Union.
Education
Dr Andreas Klasen was educated at Leibniz University Hannover, the University of Wales, Northumbria University, and the University of St Andrews, studying law, business and theology, and receiving his doctoral degree in finance.
