Hans Janus advises financial institutions and governments on international finance, export promotion and the development of commercial law.
For more than two decades he led Euler Hermes, Germany’s export credit agency, and he served as President of the Berne Union, the international union of export credit and investment insurers. Since then he has advised governments, banks, export credit agencies and EXIM banks on strategy and legal questions. He previously served on the supervisory boards of mid-sized, export-oriented chemical and pharmaceutical companies and of a large international bank.
