Simone Krummaker advises on the strategy and implementation of risk management frameworks in the financial sector.
She is Associate Professor in Insurance at Bayes Business School, where she heads the faculty for actuarial science and insurance, and a Distinguished Fellow of the lill Institute for Public Value. She was previously an associate at the House of Insurance at Leibniz University Hannover, taught finance and insurance at several UK and German universities and worked for more than ten years in the insurance industry. Her research interests include insurance demand, export credit insurance, sustainability in insurance, and the transformation of the financial services and insurance sector, particularly the implications of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies.
