Jan Vassard is a Senior Associate with IiII Advisory. He is a strategy and operations consultant advising governments, development banks, export-import banks, and export credit agencies on analytics, strategy, and operations & change. Jan Vassard has more than 35 years of experience from service in government agencies and public companies, dealing with policy making, public-private partnerships, strategic management, international relations, and economic research.

Previous Positions

Jan Vassard was the Deputy CEO of EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency (now EIFO). His responsibilities at the Danish export credit agency included overall responsibility for international relations, policy development, ESG, credit risk assessment, as well as country, bank, and sector risk analysis. In addition, Jan has been an active participant and elected official in various international export credit fora, including the Berne Union.

Jan Vassard was educated at the University of Sussex (MA International Economic Relations), Aarhus University (MSc (Cand. Scient. Pol.)) and Harvard Business School (Executive Course).
